Abrams’ “Lost” had an almost entirely different cast

Plot

Survivors of a plane crash are forced to work together to survive on a seemingly deserted tropical island… J.J. See which A-list players were left out of one of the most popular TV shows of all time. Sawyer’s character was originally supposed to be an older, sleek, suit-wearing urban crook from Buffalo, New York. But when Josh Holloway forgot a line in his audition, then kicked a chair in frustration and cursed loudly, the writers liked how Sawyer lived into the character and decided to write Sawyer as a more Southern, darker drifter. Jin and Sun are married and share the last name “Quon,” which becomes a major plot point in the final season.

At first, there’s confusion

Quite simply, if you’ve ever liked a TV show, you’ll be hooked. LOST is a series about a plane crash on a mysterious island. 48 people survive, but the show centers around 14 of them, each with a secret. But as the series progresses, friendships are formed and we learn that there’s more to the island than meets the eye… The characters are fantastic – ignore those who say the cast is so diverse it’s cliché, they’re probably the same people who criticize it if it were all white. In short, watch it.

Why aren’t you listening?

You’ll be hooked, unless you’re one of those picky people who gets a hernia if every single detail in the first episode doesn’t add up. Otherwise I have to ask… 10/10
