Plot
A contemporary story about finding your fortune in the world of West Texas oil rigs.. A landowner, at least one who works in the oil industry , will act as intermediary between geological exploration companies and landowners.

Usually, a landowner’s job is to negotiate and enter into contracts with landowners with mineral rights in order to lease these rights to the company they represent. As a foreman on a construction site, they build roads, living quarters for workers (men’s camp), assemble earthmoving equipment and drill the well itself, especially in remote areas.

I need to start by saying that I’m a big fan of pretty much everything Taylor Sheridan does (Yellowstone, Mayor of Kingstown, 1923, 1883, Tulsa King, Lioness, The Assassin, Hell or Highwater, Wind River, etc., etc .). He hits home run after home run, and Landman is no exception.
This is another hit for Sheridan
Landman’s action takes place in modern Texas, where everyone, from billionaires to ruffians, wants to get rich in the oil industry. This series tells the story of Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton), who tried to take his company to the top during the oil boom.
