Perhaps there shouldn’t have been a hint of another woman by the end of season two to show a positive and healthy process of growth and healing. it was too much and the overall tone could have been a little darker, perhaps for a denser feel. But maybe it should have been done gradually with age as Cross becomes more experienced.
