Plot
Unravel a secret in a mid-U.S. As the residents struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest. The town set was built specifically for the series in North Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia.
The site is a former military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s
The location, known as Beaver Bank Village, has a long history and many years ago was home to a residential community, a community hall, a fire station, a school, a church, a convenience store, and more. All that remains are the paved streets and driveways, and a mock town has been built on top of them. When Boyd enters a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well.
Martin did not drop the rope
A rope is lowered down to him. When Boyd emerges from the well, Martin is the only one in the room and he is chained to the wall. Featured in Half the Bag: Mid-2022 Catch-Up Part 1 (TV Shows) (2022).
While it’s not perfect, it has tension and is good enough to keep me hooked
Que Sera, Sera (What Will Be, Will Be) Written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans Performed by The Pixies. The preview felt like a mash-up of several different shows, such as Wayward Pines, Lost, and a bit of Under the Dome. I expected the plot to be vague when I saw that it was being made by the same creators as Lost, but it has a solid plot and the characters are likable.
