Featured in 60 Minutes: Crisis at the Red Sea/Fake Voters/Finding Cillian Murphy (2024). My eyes were absolutely glued to the screen from start to finish while watching this film. The amount of non-dialogue scenes that have so much atmosphere and emotion is just incredible. Cillian Murphy is absolutely incredible in this film, as I expected him to be. But the emotions he shows in this film and the way he carries himself with his body language and facial expressions are just top notch. He truly is one of the best actors of this generation. Emily Watson is brilliant as the Mother Superior. The tension she brings to every scene is fantastic. It really shows how horrible some of the nuns were at the time. This film had a perfect running time of 1 hour and 45 minutes. It felt even longer because of how immersed I was in it. Both the music and cinematography were so simple yet so effective. They both really added a lot to the film and just added the finishing touches it needed. Overall, this film was absolutely incredible and very enjoyable to watch.
