Plot
In the winter of 1862, during the Civil War, the U.S. Minervini had the set built in Montana, then let the actors live there for two months.

The dialogue and thoughts expressed are those the actors imagined while living in the wilderness imagining themselves as Civil War soldiers. Great beards.
You won’t need subtitles
Don’t worry about the subtitles. There is no more than 10 minutes of dialogue in the entire 80 minutes of video.

Nothing meaningful is ever said. The characters only say things like “this is how you shoot that rifle or that pistol.” If this were a porn movie, you’d just see an actor and an actress staring into each other’s eyes for 75 minutes, and then it would be a turn-on if one of the actors needed to blow his nose.
