Edited as Marvel Studios: Legends: Guardians of the Multiverse (2023). A very straight forward episode in a rush to put those pieces directly into the puzzle. And my facial expressions were also pretty straight watching this episode since there was no thrill or even a logical narrative, I get that it’s an animated show aimed at kids perhaps? But only those kids who are familiar with the whole MCU so far might be able to appreciate it. Let’s see how the other episodes develop, but I’m certainly not too keen on them after this one. Edit: The second episode gave a real feel of what the MCU is all about, it was creative and thoughtful with major WHAT IF moments. I had a lot of fun watching T’Challa back on screen. However the third episode was the clincher and made me edit this review. It was so emotional and exciting to watch, I could have watched a whole movie on this episode. It re-examined the characters we know on a level that leaves you wanting more. I hope to get to a 10 star edit by the end of the season. Edit II: Here’s my other star for a “weird” yet thought-provoking episode that was by far the best out of the bunch in terms of writing, voice acting, animation and storyline. Special mention to Benedict Cumberbatch for nailing the voice acting like a boss. Take a bow to Marvel for pulling this off. However, coming into episode 5, the episode was certainly entertaining, it was fun and engaging with quality animation but once again it showed too much at once not giving viewers enough time to absorb things. Still a 9/10 overall for the series at least until the next two episodes. They need to beat episode 4 to get a 10 from me.
